Micelia Angeline Clarke-Executive Director

Micelia Angeline Clarke is the Executive Director and one of the Co-founders of STEM Club-Liberia. With a background in Biology and Chemistry and over 5 years of experience in STEM education, she has a passion for empowering youth through hands-on learning. She co-founded STEM Club Liberia Inc. to bridge the gap in STEM education and create opportunities for young learners, especially females, across Liberia.

Arzuo Joyfe-Program Director

Arzuo Joyfe, one of the co-founders, serves as the Program Director and oversees the development and implementation of our educational programs. With a background in Civil Engineering and education, she ensures our programs are engaging, effective, and impactful.

Redeemer Wonsiah-Technical Mentor

Redeemer Wonsiah is one of the co-founders of STEM Club Liberia Inc. and serves as a Technical Mentor for the team. With over seven years of experience serving the youth of Liberia, Redeemer has a background in electricity and water, renewable energy, and water and energy conservation. His knowledge and commitment to sustainable practices provide invaluable guidance and inspiration to our team.

I particularly enjoyed the seminar on women in technology, which motivated me to break barriers and pursue my passion for coding.

I was always curious about how things work, and these workshops have allowed me to explore science and technology in a hands-on way. I've built circuits, conducted experiments, and even created my projects. The supportive environment and the knowledgeable instructors have inspired me to pursue a career in engineering.

Being part of the robotics team was incredible! I learned how to design, build, and program robots, which was something I never thought I'd be able to do. Competing in the FIRST Global Robotics competition In Singapore was a highlight for me. It taught me the importance of teamwork, problem-solving, and perseverance. I now have a strong interest in robotics and am considering studying it further in college.
